New Year, New Hair

Last year, I was diagnosed with Alopecia (you can read that story here and here). I haven't lost any hair since then, so I thought it was just a one-time thing. On Tuesday, I got out of the shower and started doing my hair and noticed a patch of hair missing.

My heart sunk. 

Luckily it wasn't as big as the last one, but it's right next to my 1- 1/2" scar (which doesn't have hair) and its close to my forehead. 

I quickly called the dermatologist and scheduled an appointment to get a steroid injection. Even though it's a painful shot in the head, I am so grateful there is a way to get the hair growing again.

Ever since I lost the patch of hair, I have hated everything about my hair. I just wanted to shave it off. But since Chad didn't even consider that an option, I decided to add a little more color. 

My hairstylist is Brittany at Suggestions Salon, and she is amazing! She never ceases to amaze me. I am so happy to bring in the new year with a little more color. Thanks Brittany!

Brunette to Blonde

For the past couple of months, I have been debating whether or not I should dye or cut my hair. Since chopping it off wasn't even an option from Chad, I guess I had to dye it :) I decided to be bold and go blonde! I have never never dyed my hair blonde, so I was very nervous, but I am very happy with how it turned out! I love Suggestions Salon!

New Year = New Hair

I love Saturdays. I usually have no plans, so it's the day to do whatever I want. This last Saturday, I woke up and decided it was time for a change. Change in my hair. I decided I needed a haircut, but I didn't want to cut more than an inch (since I have been trying to grow out my hair since high school!) So instead, I decided to get an ombre! I absolutely loved my hairstylist at Suggestions Salon, she did an amazing job!
