Bruno's Dog House

Winter is coming and it's getting colder quicker than I like. Since Bruno is outside for most of the day, we decided he needed to get a dog house to keep him warm. Instead of buying one, we decided to make our very own. 

Chad found awesome blueprints online. After many trips to Home Depot, Lowe's and stocking up on some essential tools, we had all that we needed. Neither of us had built anything like this before, so it took us a lot longer probably than most people, but we had so much fun doing it. 

We decided to build it like a house, so there is insulation in the walls and the roof. With all the wood, shingles and insulation, the house is over 200 pounds! So for right now, it will stay in the driveway until we find a way to move it. We absolutely love how it turned out. Hopefully Bruno will like it :)
