Happy Easter

I'm so grateful for this little family of mine. They are my world.
Because of His sacrifice, I get to have these two for eternity. There is no greater gift! Happy Easter!!

4 years...

Four years. Four years ago I said 'yes' to the greatest adventure of my life. It's been four years filled with laughter, tears, success, failures, triumphs, struggles, and a whole lotta love. Four years later and we have a life that's better than I could've ever imagined. A baby, dog, 3 houses, & priceless memories for a lifetime. My heart has expanded in ways that I didn't even know possible. Here's to many more 'four years'!

{March 22,2012 - the day we got engaged... we were such babies!}

March 22, 2014

We've made it a tradition to hike Battle Creek Falls in Pleasant Grove, where we got engaged, on March 22. (We did it a couple days early this year since it was a Saturday and such great weather).

Memorial Day Weekend

Ever since I can remember, my family has been going to the car show at the South Town Expo Center in Sandy every January. It has been a such a fun tradition. I don't think I've ever missed a year. Even last year, being 38 weeks pregnant, and just off bed rest, we knew we couldn't miss it.. even if I did wobble and sit for more than half the time ;)

This year, it was so fun to introduce Duke to it. Although he doesn't understand what it is, he was loving every minute pushing the buttons in every car we sat in. I have a feeling he's just going to love it more and more every year. Afterwards, we went to the Cheesecake factory with my parents, Sean & his girlfriend. It was a great day with the fam and definitely a memory for the books!

Farm Country

Can I just tell you how nice it is not working?! I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Today I went with my mom, Christine {& her 2 kids} and sister-in-law, Nicole {& her 5 kids} to the farm country at Thanksgiving Point. It was Two Buck Tuesday so admission was only $2!

We had a little picnic in the park and then ended our little adventure with ice cream sundaes. What a great way to top of a perfect afternoon with the fam :)

4th of July Weekend

The 4th of July is one of the my favorite holidays. Every year, all the Weitzeil's come down to my parents house and spend a couple days there. It is an activity you definitely don't want to miss out on! This year, my siblings came down a fews days early, and we partied it up. On the 3rd, we spent the afternoon swimming in the DeVore's pool.

Later that night, we spent the evening playing on my parents sport court, which included an intense game of volleyball. Us Weitzeil's thrive for competition... happy to say, my team won!

We ended the night by watching an all-time classic, The Princess Birde, under the stars, with fireworks. Can life get any better?!

I have gone to the annual 4th of July parade in Provo every single year I've been alive. Sounds insane, but it's true. It's a HUGE tradition for the Weitzeil's, and I'm not complaining. I love the parade, it wouldn't feel like the 4th of July without it, or otter pops :)

We decided to spread the baby news to my entire family....

We spent the afternoon with the DeVore's - they always have the best BBQ's and pool parties. How did I get so lucky with the best in-laws?! We ended the night at my family's house for our own Stadium of Fire. Seriously though, we had some pretty legit fireworks.

We wanted to post our baby announcement in a creative way to the social media world. I decided it would be fun to try and spell out "Baby" with sparklers, since we were going to announce around the 4th. It was definitely harder than it looks (we had to spell it backwards and have perfect timing with my camera), but with my awesome brother-in-law, Ryan, we finally got the perfect one.

"We are celebrating more than just the 4th of July..."

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
