Farm Country

We have a Thanksgiving Point pass, so we find ourselves going up there at least once a week. I've been SO anxious to take Duke to the Farm Country because he 's so obsessed with animals, I knew he'd be in heaven. Now that it's starting to warm up, I figured it's the perfect time to go before it gets too hot. Just like I anticipated, Duke was ecstatic. He had his cheesy grin on his face the whole time and especially loved feeding the sheep and lambs (although he was terrified of touching the horses). It was a fun little trip and I'm sure we'll have many more trips to come!

Christmas Photo Shoot

I took Duke up to Thanksgiving Point to have a little Christmas photo shoot with "santa". He missed his nap, and was crying most of the time during the photos, so I honestly left the shoot depressed that I paid $40 to get pictures of him crying, but I was so relieved when I got them. They turned out perfect!

 So Duke has major stranger anxiety right now. If someone even looks at him the wrong way, he will start crying. One reason I decided to go to Thanksgiving Point is because I was able to dress up as Santa Claus. I wore a fat suit and all. Duke gave me a few weird looks, but instead of crying, like he would've with a stranger, we were able to get a few smiles out of him. 

Afterwards, we visited the reindeer and went to the Dinosaur museum with my family. 

Farm Country

Can I just tell you how nice it is not working?! I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Today I went with my mom, Christine {& her 2 kids} and sister-in-law, Nicole {& her 5 kids} to the farm country at Thanksgiving Point. It was Two Buck Tuesday so admission was only $2!

We had a little picnic in the park and then ended our little adventure with ice cream sundaes. What a great way to top of a perfect afternoon with the fam :)
