The 4th of July is a big deal in the Weitzeil family. The party always starts on the 3rd. Everyone on the Weitzeil side of my family comes to my parents house for the big celebration.
This year, my parents decided to hold the party in Glen Canyon park up Provo Canyon. We met at the pavilion at 6:30 pm. The night was filled with food, games, a beautiful scenery and lots of pictures (I have been so excited to use my new camera!). Once the sun started to set, we cleaned up and headed back to my parents house.
This was definitely the best year yet for fireworks, my dad loaded up on them. Fireworks are one of my favorite parts of the 4th of July.
At 12 am sharp, all the cousins piled into cars and made our annual "In 'N Out" run. It's always more enjoyable to go late, it's great for people watching (mine and Chad's favorite :). This is one of the few times of the year that I enjoy staying up really late, it's all part of the experience!
