Today we spent the afternoon at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. My mom plays in an accordion trio, and they were playing at the amphitheater so we decided to support! They always play so well!
This was Chad's first time to the tulip festival, so it was fun to show him how beautiful it is! We ate lunch at the Cup Bop food truck and then enjoyed walking around. I'm already wanting to go back next week because it's just so pretty. If you have the chance to go, GO... you won't regret it! We were so lucky that we dodged the rain storm, although it was pretty cold with the wind and chilly weather (it didn't help we were dressed like it was summer). Seriously though, the second we got in our car to come home, it started raining. Must have been our perfect timing ;)
