9 Month Update

9 Months! This has to be my favorite age yet. Duke has the cutest little personality and it kills me. He is my best little partner and I LOVE spending my days with him. He fills the spot in my heart that I never knew was missing. I know I say this every update I write, but it's because it's so true... Duke is literally the happiest baby! He is rarely grumpy and always has a smile on his face. His laugh is so contagious and genuine. He's the best thing that's ever come into our lives. We love you Duke!

Clothing: 9-12 months

Bedtime: 7 pm. Wakes up between 6-7 am.

Sleeping: Sleeps all through the night. Booyah! Takes 2 naps during the day, usually about 1.5 hours each.

Development: (this has been a big month! I feel like he has learned so much since his 8 month update)

- crawls everywhere

-pulls himself up onto everything

-walks along furniture, walls, fireplace, etc.

-still says 'mama' dada'

-graduated from the infant carrier and is now in his big boy car seat

-has bottom 2 teeth, top 2 just broke through the skin!

-knows how to give kisses and make the kissing noise

-claps

-feeds himself finger foods

-can suck out of a straw (10/2/15 was his 1st time)

Likes:

-jumping (especially when you say 'jump!")

-playing with the car keys

-playing with his toys (especially the standing musical one)

-exploring the whole house

-putting EVERYTHING in his mouth

-pulling Bruno's tail

-getting kisses from Bruno

-playing (more like pounding) the piano

-hanging upside down

-pat-a-cake

-being tickled

-flirting with everyone (especially the ladies) everywhere we go

Dislikes:

-being in his carseat

-getting diaper changed

-drying off after a bath

-getting dressed

-teething

-doesn't like sitting still, always on the go
