So I was double tagged by the cute bloggers, Shayli and Sheree for the Liebster award. For those of who who haven't heard of it, it's a fun way to get to know other bloggers and find new blogs to follow. When I saw this, I was so excited to jump on the bandwagon. I mean, who doesn't love a few fun facts and new friends?!

11 Facts:
1. I hate every green vegetable. Green beans, peas, spinach, kale, brussel sprouts, etc. You name it, it's on the list.
2. I am literally obsessed with my dogs, Bruno and Lucy… anyone could have guessed that if you follow my instagram. I honestly hope I can love my children as much as my dogs. They set the standard pretty darn high ;)
3. I have always wanted to be an interior designer. I am constantly thinking of ways to upgrade our house. I have 4+ "interior designer" apps on my iPad. I could spend all day designing houses (some days I do). Hopefully one day I will move on from the apps and actually do it!
4. Call me crazy, but I don't like seeing movies at the movie theater. I would prefer to be lounging in my pajamas and cuddling with my man on the love sac. Plus, we save at least $20!
5. Talking about saving, I love doing finances. Sometimes I get a little too excited about setting goals, saving money, and budgeting. Chad will thank me later.
6. I have fallen off of a chairlift not only once, but twice, while skiing. Let's just say I'm not the most coordinated person.
7. I am allergic to bees. Whenever I get stung, I swell up like a balloon and get nasty veins coming out from the sting. It continues to get worse each time I get stung.
8. I'm a very competitive person… sometimes a little too competitive. But what can I say, I love winning!
9. An egg of spiders hatched in my bedroom closet when I was 10. Ever since then, I am terribly afraid of them… Chad can back me up on this one ;)
10. To say I love traveling would be an understatment. I would love to be a world explorer and travel from country to country… but since I don't see that happening any time soon, I love just going on vacations whenever we get an opportunity. Whether it's camping, a road trip to St. George, or a vacation to Hawaii, I'm always up for the adventure.
11. I have had 3 different accidents involving my head, which have all resulted in stitches.

1. Favorite childhood memory?
Some of my favorite memories are from our family vacations. Every year, my parents would take us on a family vacation each summer. Some of my favorites were to Disneyland, Boston, New York, Hawaii, Mt. Rushmore, Seattle, Nauvoo and camping. Going on vacations as a family really brought us closer and strengthened our relationships. I hope to carry on that tradition with my family.
2. What is your hobby?
Biking, cleaning, gardening, and baking… those are probably my top 4. I'm definitely a busy body, I like to always be doing something.
3. When did you start blogging and what is your most popular post?
I started blogging in 2010, but I couldn't figure out the whole blogger thing, so I stopped. You can see that sad blog here. I started this blog in 2012, and my first post was about our wedding. You can see that post here. My most popular post was about a baby shower I helped put together for a co-worker. It's not even a great post, but because I posted the baby shower games and linked it to Pinterest, it has gotten repinned over 900 times and the post has had about 17,500 views since November 2013. 4. Favorite junk food?
Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream… definitely my biggest weakness.
6. Where is the most amazing place you've ever been?
It's probably a tie between Hawaii and Mexico. I LOVE tropical vacations!
7. How would you describe your style?
Since I'm in scrubs all day for work, I don't get dressed up that often. But when I do, I go all for comfort. I will pretty much wear anything. I wouldn't say I have a specific style.
8. What are you current favorite TV show?
Modern Family, New Girl, Jimmy Fallon, Keeping Up W/ the Kardashians
9. Do you watch YouTUbe videos, and if so, what are your favorite channels?
Not very often, but when I do, it's either for makeup or hair tutorials.
10. What's your best advice for people looking to grow their blogs?
I'm no where near having a popular blog, because I am still learning myself, but from my experience, linking your posts to Pinterest is a great way to get more views.
11. What is the most rewarding part of blogging?
I use my blog like a journal, so I love being able to go back to previous posts and read about our experiences. It brings back so many great memories.
