Last weekend was definitely adventurous. Can I just say that I love the summer? It's crazy how much you can do when you're not in school!
For our Fridate, we decided to make it cheap, so we cooked a frozen pizza (sounds disgusting, but we were craving one), and hopped on our bikes and headed up Provo canyon. An hour later, we found ourselves at Vivian Park. I was amazed how easy (and beautiful) the ride was. It makes all the difference with a road bike!
We were pooped after our 17 mile ride, so we spent the rest of the night hanging out at home. Sometimes I think hanging out at home are the best kind of dates. I'm a sucker for cuddling and watching tv with my lover, and Bruno, of course :)
Sunday was my second time teaching in Mia Maids. My nerves sure got to me, but at least it's over, right?! I'm kind of jealous of Chad, who just got called to teach the CTR 5 class in Primary. That's seriously like my dream calling… call me crazy.
To make teaching a little easier, I always prepare myself with loads of treats. I feel like the girls participate more when there's candy tempting them.
After church, adventure was calling our names so we took Bruno on a walk up to Bridal Veil Falls. Once we got home, we decided to go on a bike ride. At first, we were just going to go up to Vivian Park, but we decided to keep going up to South Fork. Once we got to South Fork, we decided to keep going up to Big Springs. We were so grateful Chad's brother, Garrett lives up there because we ran out of water. Plus… who doesn't want to stop and see their amazing house?! It seriously looks like it's right out of magazine. It's perfect.
Happy Weekend!
