Strawberry Days

Last weekend we went to Strawberry Days in Pleasant Grove. We decided to be adventurous and buy some tickets to use on the rides and games. I get a little motion sick on rides, so we decided to do a more calm ride. As the ride got going faster and faster, it was obvious it was going to make us both sick, but there was no backing out now. We groaned and moaned, trying to hold in our dinner. The ride couldn't end quick enough. After 5 minutes of misery (it felt like forever) the ride finally came to a stop.

We wobbled down the ramp and collapsed on the grass, and that's where we stayed for the next 10 minutes until our stomachs calmed down. No more rides for us. We decided we would stick to the games from now on. 

Chad played the ping pong toss. It was an intense game, we really wanted to win the goldfish. With one ball left, he made it into the glass cup. We jumped for joy and gave each other high fives, definitely overreacting over a goldfish, but we were just so happy :) Once the lady handed over the tiny fish, we decided we didn't want it anymore, and pawned it over to a little kid. We enjoyed the rest of the night together under the full moon.
