february at a glance.

Low quality pictures for high quality events. February was too good to us. Here's February at a glance from my iphone....

Target runs with this hunk.

Date night to Joseph Smith Memorial Building for my cousin, Taylor's wedding reception.

Isn't she a babe?!

My crown came off while eating a slice of pizza on Super Bowl Sunday. If only the pizza was worth the $350 it cost me :(

Duke is achieving great heights, literally. His new hobby is climbing on anything and everything. It's actually quite impressive the things he can manage to get on top of, but also quite nerve racking. I walked into the room and found this...

Chad turned the big 29 on Feb 27th. I wish every birthday was on the weekend because it's just the best.

Funny story... Duke woke up at 12:30 am on the 27th screaming hard core. We tried putting him back to bed for the next hour, but he was not having it... I've never seen him so unhappy. I don't know if he had a bad dream or what (because he RARELY wakes up in the night, and if he does, he just goes back to sleep on his own).
Anyways, at 1:30am, Chad just decided to bring him into our bed to calm him down. As soon as he got in our bed, he immediately came up to me and just wanted to cuddle/head butt me/poke my eyes/do head stands on me. At first I was bugged he was awake, let alone all over me, but then Chad & I just started busting up laughing at how silly he was being. He was seriously SO happy, it was worth losing sleep over. We laid in bed, giggling and seriously enjoying every minute of it until 3:30 am, I decided this little party had to come to an end. Duke ended up going down really easily and back to bed we all went. It was the most random little fiesta in the middle of the night, but to this day, Chad and I just laugh at how much fun it was (now if this was a daily occurrence, we probably wouldn't be so ecstatic over it, but this NEVER happens, so it was definitely a memory for the books).

Breakfast in bed for the birthday looked like this...

Now that it's starting to warm up, we have been so anxious to get out our bikes and take advantage of living so close to the Murdock Canal trail. I got Chad a little bike trailer for Duke to ride in so we can all go together. 12 miles later, our bums were numb and we were exhausted (especially after getting hardly any sleep ;)

We got last minute tickets to the BYU vs. Gonzaga sold out basketball game. I felt like an old grandma because I was falling asleep during the most intense game of the year! It was such a great day celebrating my man. He is the peanut butter to my jelly, the ying to my yang, and the piece to my puzzle. I'm so grateful for all of his hard work to support our family + he's my best partner in crime.
