I've decided that 3 day weekends are my absolute favorite. There's nothing better than spending an extra day with my little fam... especially when Duke let us sleep in 'til 9:30! Best way to start the day!
We ran to Target and bought Duke a swimsuit (& an adorable fedora hat that we couldn't pass up), and headed over to Chad's parents house for their annual BBQ and pool party. It was cloudy and windy, and the pool wasn't that hot, so we didn't end up getting in the water, but it was fun just sitting by the pool and being with everyone. The DeVore's sure know how to party ;)
We headed up to Traverse Outlets to take advantage of all the holiday sales, just like everyone else in Utah valley. It was packed, but we were still able to snatch up some good deals at j.crew!
Chad's dad had his back fused on Saturday (major surgery), so we went to visit him at UVRMC. Is it weird that I absolutely love going to the hospital? It brings back so many great memories of giving birth there. I was probably a little too excited to be there. What can I say? I just loved the whole birth experience!!
We ate dinner at Costa Vida and then came home to watch the Golden State Warriors in the NBA playoffs. We have been obsessed with the playoffs lately!
It was such a fun Memorial Day with my fam. I wish Chad could have every Monday off of work ;)
