When we first got pregnant, we decided to not tell my brother, Sean, who was serving a mission in the Philippines, and surprise him with a baby when he got home. He came home on January 28, and my due date was February 3. At the time, we thought I would still be pregnant, so we were going to surprise him at the airport with a sign and my baby bump. But since Duke couldn't wait to get here, we had to come up with another plan.
My family has all been in on the surprise, so when they picked him up at the airport, they told him I had a stomach virus and wasn't feeling well... and he totally believed! At first, he didn't want to come over to visit because he was afraid of getting my "sickness", but my parents were able to convince him that I wasn't contagious ;) They came over on the 29th, the day I was released from the hospital. The video starts right after my family just got to our house and I was in our bedroom putting Duke in his bassinet.
