St George Getaway

Chad and I needed some adventure, so we packed our bags and drove to St. George for the weekend. We arrived late Thursday night at our hotel. As we opened the trunk to get our suitcase, it wasn't there. We both stood there laughing at the empty trunk. "How could you forget your luggage?".. You might ask... We asked ourselves the same question many times... We were just so anxious to leave the house, we ran out the door with out suitcase sitting by the door.

I remembered that Kellie, my manager from work, was driving to Vegas on Friday. She was so sweet to pick up our suitcase and bring it to us :) In the meantime, we made a quick stop at a gas station to buy the necessities; toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. On Friday, we improvised and went to a makeup store at the outlets and I used some of the "testers" and a sample a perfume to keep me fresh.. It worked like a gem.

We spent the day shopping at the outlets/mall and Main Street, grabbed some lunch at Camille's, got a tour of the tabernacle and Jacob Hamblins house, ate some burgers at Marvs (which were amazing) and met up with Kellie, to get our bag. We were seriously so lucky she was able to bring it, she was a life saver. We hiked in the Red Hills until the sun set. We ended the night by getting smoothies at the Orange Peel.

On Saturday, we got up early and hiked Snow Canyon. 70 degrees + amazing views... Doesn't get much better than that!

Later that afternoon, we headed to Las Vegas. Of course, we had to check out the outlets before heading to the Strip. Chad is a good man for putting up with my shopping addictions :)

Sunday we headed to Zion National Park. We hiked 3 different trails, overall 5 miles. It was so much fun, and the best weather! It was such a great little getaway with my main squeeze :)
